Better late than never! We are still very proud to bring you a great story about a father and son and they bikes they built for Born-Free 5! Dylan was our youngest builder at 19 and was already building a follow up bike to his rigid show winning '65 Panhead. Domenic is one of the nicest guys you'll meet and one of the best mechanics around, not to mention he builds a sanitary machine! Anyway, enjoy.
We found these great photographs by Tim Scott on the little known Born-Free Facebook page. Shot on a Hasselblad 500 c/m camera, Carl Zeiss 80mm f2.8, and Fuji Acros film. The equipment and process matches the subject matter perfectly! Thanks Tim!
Ryan Hagger of Murietta Ca. with lucky ticket number 1154 that he purchased online through Lowbrow Customs. Ryan picked in less than 10 seconds Jason Sheet's 1931 Harley Davidson VL. Awesome bike and they do not come any nicer than Jason. Congrats to Ryan and Jason. Thank you to all who participated in our giveaway promo. It has been so much fun following all the builders bikes and all the positive talk we have received over the last several months. We can not do the show without all the support we have received from all of you!! Thanks Again.... Also please see the Chop Cult feature Lisa Ballard.. it's where I stole these photos: Photos by Jessica Stopnik http://www.chopcult.com/news/articles/born-free-5-show-2013.html
We need a few more days for the dust to settle and we will post the award winners, giveaway winner ( bought online through Lowbrow Customs ticket #1154 ) and photos. Thanks to all the braved the heat ,the traffic and the crowds. The show was huge and we were a little under prepared even though we thought we were ready...live and learn. Thanks again to the sponsors, builders, vendors and all of you.
